Our waterfall hiking adventure tour with Jahrod is by far our best memory of St Lucia. If you are only skimming this, the short version is that if we only had one “top rating award” to give in all of our travels over the years on trip advisor, we would give the award to Jahrod. The natural beauty of the rainforest and waterfalls were amazing. The hiking was adventurous. But the one thing that absolutely made the experience was Jarod’s personal knowledge of the plant life in the rainforest. Jahrod highlighted so many interesting aspects of the rainforest. We sniffed the bark of frankincense trees. We sucked on the seeds of cocoa pods which are nicknamed “jungle m&m’s”. We learned about the history of medicinal uses by countless varieties of plants. We swam and played in remote waterfalls. Sapphire falls & jungle spa is like the garden of eden. We stayed at Stonefield, and Jahrod arranged a boat taxi for us with his cousin to Anse Chastanet beach and then took us to the airport in the afternoon. The sightseeing and activities were better than we even thought! I still can’t believe we did so much in such a short time, but we did not feel stressed. We really loved the tour and would do it all over again in a minute! Thanks.
